THE ORIGIN OF OUR WORKWEAR SOCK

 

The founder of Healthy Seas and Forebel was invited to a convention after the success of Forebel’s sustainable socks in retail.

At the convention, an important question emerged.

Can sustainability and workwear be combined in one sock?

The question sparked the ambition to bring sustainability into a demanding and performance-driven environment.

After establishing a strong position in retail, Forebel was driven to reinforce its core pillar by expanding into the workwear industry.

THE EVOLUTION OF OUR WORKWEAR SOCK

Forebel moved forward with the ambition to integrate sustainability into workwear.

This arrived with the challenge of convincing a highly technical industry that a retail-rooted brand could deliver socks strong enough for demanding working conditions.

This challenge led to the development of the first sustainable workwear sock, in collaboration with Intersafe.

This collaboration brought Forebel into the workwear market and significantly strengthened its position as a credible and prominent company within the industry.

THE WORKWEAR INDUSTRY STANDING

Forebel is now trusted by leading workwear partners including EMMA, RED BRICK, Grisport, Fristads, Schijvens and more.

EMMA’s strong position in workwear aligns with Forebel’s focus on durability and sustainability. This shared direction has proven key to our success in the wokwear industry.

Today, Forebel remains the only brand capable of producing a workwear sock made from 100% recycled materials.
